Once a participant has the link to your PMI, they can join it at any time the meeting is in use, unless you lock the meeting or use the Waiting Room feature to admit participants individually. However, because it is always accessible with the same Meeting ID and personal link, it should not be used for back-to-back meetings or people you do not meet with regularly. Your Personal Meeting Room is ideal for use with people you meet with regularly. You can start instant meetings with your PMI or you can schedule a meeting that uses your PMI. Note: You can also customize your Personal Meeting ID (PMI) but the passcode will be appended to the URL.Your Zoom Personal Meeting Room is a virtual meeting room permanently reserved for you that you can access with your Personal Meeting ID (PMI) or personal link.
Distribute your Personal Link to people you meet with. Type something short, specific, and easy to share in the box. In the left side navigation, locate Profile. Your Personal Link redirects automatically to your PMI + passcode. You can also create a Personal Link, which will give you a nicer looking URL than your Personal Meeting ID with a passcode. Note: If you have previously distributed a link to your recurring meeting, you will need to share the new link. Distribute the new meeting URL to the meeting attendees. Highlight the existing meeting and click Edit. In the left side navigation, locate Meetings. To set a Passcode on current recurring meetings: Note: If you have previously distributed a link to your PMI, you will need to share the new link. Select the toggle switch to turn on Embed passcode in invite link for one-click join. Click the toggle switch to turn on Require a passcode for Personal Meeting ID (PMI). Click the toggle switch to turn on Require a passcode for instant meetings. Click the toggle switch to turn on Require a passcode when scheduling new meetings. Scroll down the Settings page to Security. 
In the left side navigation, locate Settings. To set a Passcode on your future meetings and PMI: In addition to the passcode, you may also choose to turn on the Waiting Room, but then you will need to start every meeting while you are logged into Zoom. 
You will need to distribute new links to any currently scheduled meetings after you turn on the passcode setting. To improve security on for your Zoom meetings, please turn on the passcode option for future meetings, currently scheduled meetings, and your Personal Meeting ID.
